Plymouth GTX 1971 Description
this is for a 1971 Plymouth GTX in project car condition.so it will need a full restoration to bring it back to the glory it once was. the car is an original 440/auto and she still retains a 440. one of the best colors b5 blue with a white vinyl top and white stripes across the hood with 15" rally wheels. sadly i only have 2 of the original 15" rally wheels that go with the car. included is a picture of the fender tag, so that will answer alot of questions for true mopar people. it has a clean clear texas title. below is a quick run down of the car.Drivetrain-the engine will need rebuilt, its been sitting since 1994 as that is when it was last registered. the trans i would assume the same. it does still have the correct date coded hp manifolds attached to an old flowmaster exhaust system. the rear gear does still spin free and there is no excessive play in the yoke. the radiator is missing and the pulleys are off the engine but i do have a set of correct pulleys i am including
Brakes-will need a complete rebuild front to rear. nothing is missing, its just been sitting too long
Suspension-will need a complete rebuild of the steering and suspension but it is all intact
glass-all there and in good shape
interior-will need a complete restoration...all of it was there but i tossed the drivers door panel as it was just junk and the rear upper panels aswell. the center console was busted. it goes with it to use for parts but its not fixable. all the seats are there and original. all the gauges and even original radio is sill in the car.
Rust and Body-she will need some rust repair so be preparred to replace some panels...the passenger fender is damaged but included is another fender to replace it. the passenger door has damage aswell but included is also another door that is nice to replace it. the hood is nice but has one small rust hole up at the front. the engine bay is pretty good, just ur typical patina in the regular areas. the front clip is good. the rear clip is good but does have some rst in the rear valance. the rockers are good and the torque boxes. both the floor and trunk are shot, but the rear seat pan is good though. there is rust around the back window as usual and even on the trunk gutters. On Aug-22-16 at 08:56:39 PDT, seller added the following information:
I also have the correct 1971 rear bumper brackets and tail lights. What's on the car is a 72
