Plymouth Fury 1966 Description
The fury that it listed is a true survivor. It is 100% rust free. All original paint and metal. NO BONDO EVER. everything you see is factory original with the exception of the seat covers, after market gauges, complete exhaust, custom rims and tires. Plus, a brand new short block as the second owner blew the original engine attempting to start it with either....I Have pix proving the engine swap. however, i utilized as much of the original engine as possible, oil pan, valve cover, distributor, carb. when the engine was out i turned the flywheel and replaced the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. { i have the original parts boxed up and go with the sale}. The bottoms of both rear and front seat need serious repair. the head liner is great but needs resewn in the back seat area. the thread has separated about 12 inches above the back seat. It also has 5% limo tint in every window with the exception of the windshield. this car drives like a brand new 1966 Fury, I have driven it about 1000 miles since I've owned it. It was originally purchased by HILLSIDE motors in Philadelphia pa. then bought as a funeral directors company car. it had 28,000 miles on it when i bought it and the speedo broke after a short ride. I have replaced the speedo cable, the speedo gear in the tranny, it just refuses to work. I think its in the dash. the Fuel gauge also refuses to function. I keep a fuel log on how many miles I've driven it in unison of gallons of gas. This car can be driven anywhere anytime. She starts every time. It was headed to the shredder and It was saved. happy bidding. any questions you have please don't hesitate to contact me. Your satisfaction is a priority that I take very seriously. I have not seen a car this rust free in many years folks, So what if its a 4 door, its 50 years old and with the direction that our likes are headed and all of the dynamics that we can explore, the possibilities are endless with a 50 year old rust free canvass.....I have set the reserve a bit more friendly @ 4k. i really think this a great price. buyer is completely and wholly responseable for shipping.
