Plymouth Wagon 1964 Description
Up for sale is a 1964 Plymouth Station wagon. I just got this wagon in a multi car deal and I really want to keep it… but as the agreement with my wife goes, I have to see if it can be sold at a reasonable price first since this would be an additional project if I end up keeping it.
Anyway, as I said it is a 1964 Plymouth station wagon. The trim level is unknown to me. The floors are gone (as in removed because they were rusty). But the rest of the car is absolutely wonderful. I had my body shop take a close look at it and it was surmised that the pain that is on it is more than likely original. I can find no evidence of rust or rust repair (except obviously the floor). The rear floor pan is gone as well, but I have a complete NOS truck floor from a 2 door car that looks like it would be a good fit with little to no modification. That piece is included in the auction. The rear tailgate has a small dent in it and it has a little rust along the bottom, but has not REALLY come through yet and is still very much savable. The tailgate window rolls up and down. The fire wall has a very small amount of rust where these cars typically rust (see pics)
No door panels, but most of the interior is there. The back seat is there, I have the front bench seat but it is at my place in Cheyenne, Wyoming and I will bring it back to Kansas in June. IT was an original V8 car with A/C and a push-button automatic. I do not have an engine or transmission. You are pretty much buying the shell and the NOS trunk floor that I have. So what you see is what you get, along with the NOS trunk floor and the interior pieces.
I will put some shipping wheels and tires on there because the wheels and tires pictured do not come with it. They don’t belong to me but it will have rollers on it so you can haul it or have it hauled. IT has the data plate in the engine bay. All the glass is there and good.
Car is out of Austin, Texas. Feel free to ask questions but I have only had it about a week and really do not know much about it. But will answer what I can. Thanks for looking!
