Plymouth Barracuda 1970 Description
This car is a real Cuda and not a cloneThe car still has the original numbers matching engine and transmission. It came from the factory with a 383 with 4 barrel and a 727 3 speed automatic transmission with an 8 3/4 real end.
The car was repainted about 10 years ago and is starting to show some age. It's not perfect but it's still shiny and turns heads. The rear quarter panels may need to be done in the future and the trunk and floors are original and all solid.
The car has had the engine, Tranny, rear end all been done within the last 1500 miles. This motor has a mild cam and headers.
The last owner lost the fender tag during the build. But the car has a factory shaker hood on the car, unable to confirm if it came of this car or not. It has dual mirrors, the lower rocker gills. The interior is black and has the rally cluster.
On the exterior this Cuda has the front eye brows and truck spoiler. It also has the dual road lamp kit.
The car has American racing torque thrust wheels and has front disk brakes.
This car would make a nicer cruiser how it is or a good start for a build. The car is very solid and complete. I bought this car because I was planning to build it after I finish my 1970 challenger but currently looking to buy a home.
The car needs a new harness put in. I have a used one but the one in it now has a melted plug so it doesn't work correctly and has to be hot wired to start. Something in the electrical makes it shut off otherwise if started by key.
Also the passenger window crank is seized so it won't go up or down.
If you have any questions or concerns please don't be shy.
