Plymouth Road Runner 1969 Description
1969 Road Runner that was originally a 383 4-speed car, have the numbers matching engine that will go with the car if auction meets my reserve. The 4-speed pedals are still installed in the car an has the factory 4-speed hump. The car now has a 440 motor that has about 5,000 miles since rebuilt along with the 727 automatic transmission and converter being replaced also. It has a new holley carb and brand new TTI headerswith new exhaust that goes out the back. (have factory exhaust tips for the car to) The motor starts rite up an runs strong, ransmission shifts very good with no weird vibrations or anything. This car could be drove anywhere!!!! I drive it to the beach an to car shows all the time! It has a nice aluminum radiator and catch can, he car never over heats even in traffic. It has Mopar electronic ignition and distributor and the vacuum advance has all been set up!! The car sports brand new magnum 500 wheels and newBF radial tires, ront has p235/60r15 and the back has p275/60r15. The back tires are a lot wider to give it that classic muscle car stance!! The paint is almost 2 years old an is laser straight with just a few minor chips from being a car that is actually drove. The car has had the suspension rebuilt and has front an rear sway bars, t rides nice and smooth and doesn't pull left or right. Originally the car came with power steering but now has manual steeringthat turns with ease. ( do have power steeringpump+pulley and the steering box)The glass in the car is innice originalshape (very nice!)for being 45 years old and the back quarter glass pops out with a lever to get more air in the car. It has leather seats that are in nice condition and the front seat foam isn't all worn out!! Door panels could be replaced but they don't look too bad and headliner is new but wasnt the best install, t can be fixed im sure for little money. The car came with a few more options than most Roadrunners that includes factory tachometer that works, ustom sill chrome sill moldings that separate the door glass and the quarter glass. Also a a14 and A87 interior package as well. The vin tag and fender tag along with numbers on cowl and engineblockall match up confirming that this is a true Roadrunner with #'s matching motor. The car has a8.75 raer end with a 742 casing stuffed with 3.55 newgears that don't wine and are set up properly. The trunk pans has 2 nickel size holes rite above the gas tank, ts nothing major an doesn't bother me at all because I just throw luggage an groceries back there anyways. Grill is in great condition along with all the turn signals an lights working also. It has the lift off road runner hood with the AIR GRABBER air cleaner that didn't come factory but is there an gives it that aggressive look. What would a Roadrunner be without the ol' Beep Beep horn that's in it and works nice! Im sure there is a few other things I may have left out but feel free to email me about the car...Please no tire kickers that don't have money and are just trying to talk!! This is a bad ass car that is a nice cruiser and will take you anywhere you want to go. It can win some local car show tropheys but is not a show car. Its meant to be drove and looks and preforms great doing it!!!
Click on these links for videos of the car!! They aren't the best but atleast you can see and hear the car.
