Plymouth Other 1931 Description

What we have here is a solid Running 1931 Plymouth 4 Dr Sedan. this automobile is original. has no fiberglass or rust . Fenders and running boards were undercoated and the engine was rebuilt and it has no miles put on it after the rebuild . The restoration was started however the owner couldn t finish it do to health reasons. The frame and body were stripped then after they stopped the restoration they had the body painted gray and then put this car in a climate controlled storage unit and there it sat for years. The paint is not in real good condition due only to runs in the paint they had painted the exterior only to protect the metal you will need new paint. The fuel pump and carburator were removed. nbsp; and gas tank drained for storage. I replaced these parts. in addition I installed an electric fuel pump and a fuel regulator. After setting for years it fired right up and it does have a smooth running engine. This is the original interior some normal wear for the age and hole in front seat. I do not have the any of the canvas top will need new one all of the wood cross beams are all good. Brake lines were disconnected and never replaced with new. you will need to replace the brake lines and finish up the wiring for the lights. I purchased this from a gentleman who was going to finish the restoration . owever he is no longer able to. the frame and underbody was never painted after the striped it it will need paint. Minor bodywork needed just a couple spots need bondo nothing to severe. Take your family on weekend cruise there is plenty of room for them all. Has the original rims and spare the tires are all in great shape. as you would know if this car had set anywhere other the a climate controlled unit the seats would be desinigrated. these cars are only becoming more valuable as time ticks by. with some minor work you would have a nice Vintage Automobile as you know cars of this age has rust issues but that is one thing you dont have to worry about. The car does have a new modern aluminum radiator. Chrome is all in great condition.
