Plymouth Satellite 1969 Description
Up for auction is this nicely restored 1969 Plymouth Satellite convertible that I am listing for my father. Car was recently restored and is in excellent condition and is numbers matching with original 383 engine and 727 transmission. It has all original sheet metal, loor boards and trunk floor with the exception of one quarter panel. Original color was rallye red but it now wears a great looking vitamin C orange base coat clear coat.ENGINE/UNDERHOOD: 383 big block has been rebuilt with new pistons, ings, earings and lifters. It also has a new water pump, uel pump, adiator, oses, elts, dlebrock 4 barrel carb, lternator, tarter, lugs, ires, oltage regulator, asher bottle, ood pad
INTERIOR: It has new carpet, oor panels, eat covers, ill plates, oor handles, runk mat and mint uncracked dash pad.
EXTERIOR: It has new shocks, aint, ew black convertible top, ires, xhaust system, rakes, rim rings, enter pieces and lugs, oor handles, river sideview mirror, entastar emblem, ower ball joints, lass sealing weatherstrip, ody bumper kit, e-chromed front and rear bumpers, ail light bezels and convertible top moulding joints.
As you can see in photos it is an automatic on the column with magnum 500 wheels. Power top works and car really drives nice. As with many older cars there are a couple of items that need to be fixed/added. It has an aftermarket fuel & temp gauge mounted underneath dash (probably needs a new dash circuit board) to make the two original gauges work. It also does not have a convertible top boot and original thumbwheel radio does not work. All in all a very nice restoration that is ready to show or just enjoy for the upcoming warm weather. It would also be a perfect candidate to clone into a Road Runner or install a HEMI to make it even more desirable.
Obviously there are no warranties and it is buyers responsibility to arrange pick up. Car could be driven of course but my father has never really taken it more than a few hundred miles at one time so you may want to have it transported. A non refundable payment of $500.00 must be forwarded to Paypal at auction end with remainder of price in either cash or cashiers check within 14 days at time of pickup unless other arrangements are made. Car is for sale locally and auction will end if sold. Please message me and I will do my best to answer.
