Up for your consideration is a 1972Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 350cid Rocket with Automatic TH350 Transmission and 8.5 rear end. This car was built to enjoy. Additional features are power steering, osmetically restored very tasteful paint color,original Cutlass bucket interior including new carpet, eatupholstery, eat foam and all new seat trim. Factory seat belt retractors all function and perform as they should. To finish it off it will need a headliner and rear luggage tray trim.
All chrome has been polished from the front bumper to the rear, indshield moldings to back window moldings. All electrical components such as headlights, arkers, urns, unning, nd brake lights all function properly. Theburgundypaint shines and shows exceptionally well, ery smooth panels and very good fitment. Only a few minor chips and blemishes. No rust. Doors close and open very good with no clatter, indow alignments are nice and smooth operating. All weather stripping has been replaced and seals tight. The car spends its life in the garage.Original odometer does not work. Hasautometer tach-rpm, ndaccessory oil and temp gauges.
The 350 Rocket has a mild cam and runs on 93 octane. Accel super coil and HEI ignition. Motor runs great. It has a 750 cfm Holley Carburetor. The 350 boasts a wonderfully sounding Flowmaster Dual Exhaust setup. The Transmission was built for the motor andrear end combo. It is a turbo350 with all new internals (have allrecipes on build) 400 torque converter, 500 stall, alve bodyadjustment, eavy dutyclutches, nd shit kit. The floor shifter is a Hurst Pro-Matic 2. The pair shifts perfectly. The A/C components were removed from the car.
The cowl induction hood is a fiberglass replica of the 442. It will need hinges installed
Tires and wheel combo is 295/55r/15 Mickey Thompson drag radials on 15x10 Weld aluminum wheels. No corners were cut when fitting the wheels for the car. Tires fill wheel wells correct to the time period and offer the performance needed to put the power to the ground. Car drives straight, topsstraight, nd does not rub.
