The car was purchased brand new in 1976 from Al Zimmerman, Inc. of Akron, New York by my Father. I inherited the car 2 years ago along with some others and it has just been stored since. It has never seen a single winter. It was repainted once, a few of years ago by Miracle Workshop of East Aurora, NY and it was done very well. The body is very near mint. No accidents, bondo, etc. Wheel well trim was replaced. The car is missing the opera window trim only. All weatherstripping is in really nice shape. The worst part of the exterior of the car is pictured. The rear bumper and license plate area. The front bumper is great. All body panels are laser straight.
Actual mileage of the car is NOT known. My Father replaced the speedometer some years ago and at that time the mileage was lost. The odometer now says 40,7XX. I cannot say with absolute certainty how accurate that is, so I will not make any claims.
The interior of the car is in GREAT condition as can be seen in the photos. All black, no large rips or tears or cracks. There are not many of these cars around (in this condition/options). If you're looking for an average, mid 70's Cutlass with a 350, bench seat and several owners, this one may not be for you.
I spent over $1,000 last year having the fuel system in the car sorted out. Some of the fuel lines were showing signs of wear and a line above the gas tank had a hole in it so I had all of that taken care of. The car starts right up, idles fine, drives, stops and shifts smoothly. It's really a great car to cruise around in.
You will not be disappointed in this car. It is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells here. I will do my best to help with shipping wherever you'd like it to go.
Email me questions and I will do my very best to answer them as quickly and honestly as possible.
Thanks for looking!
