1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible Description1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible
Highly desirable red and black combination 350 cid V8 cylinder engine Jetaway 2-speed automatic transmission Black soft convertible top Power steering and brakes Last year for this generation of CutlassMotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this extremely rare and desirable 1967 Oldsmoble Cutlass convertible. The previous owner painstakingly restored this car and it still stands strong today…inside and out! What color comes to mind when you think of a convertible…red right? Well picture a “full size” in a deep beautiful red with the top down and the best interior choice for that exterior ever…that’s right, black!
The Oldsmobile Cutlass is a line of automobiles that were made by Oldsmobile. The Cutlass began as a unibody compact car, but saw its greatest success as a body-on-frame intermediate car. Introduced in 1961 as the top trim level in Olds’ compact F-85 line, over the years the Cutlass name accumulated great brand equity, and became one of the most popular name plates in the industry in the 1970s.
Finished in a “Target Red”, this convertible shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. A thin black single pinstripe runs the length of the body and tastefully breaks up the red along the beltline. All the trim is present, complete and displays great. The front and rear bumpers fit is extremely tight and finish is exquisite. The weather-stripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. The power black convertible top (and matching black boot) is in very good condition with the rear window in excellent condition. The original 14 inch wheels represent well with only slight signs of marring.
Inside, the rich black vinyl front bucket seats and rear seats appear with normal with only slight wear spots on the drivers seat’s outside bolster visible. The matching black door panels, carpet and dashboard are a compliment to the striking red exterior of the car and look fantastic. All gauges are ergonomically place have correct appearance and function as originally designed. There is the addition of three Equus gauges, (water, battery, oil) mounted under the dash. The “Grant” style leather steering is in excellent condition and functions as designed. The upgraded Alpine AM/FM/CD player function with remote and removable face.
This nicely presented Olds is equipped with a 350 cid V8 engine, mated to a Jetaway 2-speed automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes, dual exhaust. The wheels are 14 inch rally style 5 spoke with Firestone Firehawk tires.
This ’67 Cutlass convertible is a great way to separate yourself from the sea of Chevelles and GTOs you usually find at the local cruise night. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 95,865 miles. It is sold as is on a clean & clear mileage exempt title.
