From Prev. Owner:My first goal was to make the car reliable and safe so I began by rebuilding the front and rear brake, shocks front and rear, ll rubber including body mounts and seals, oil springs, nd gas tank. The engine, which is the original block, as rebuilt and bored .030” when I got the car. Upon tearing down the engine, found that #7 cylinder had a little scratch on it so just to be safe (and get a touch more power) I bored it to .060” which is more than acceptable for an Olds 455 ( .080 is typically the limit) because of the high nickel content which aids the strength. The car had the wrong heads on it when I got it so I searched out the correct “E” head and had the 3 angle valve grind done with all new valve train. I replaced the original cam with a newer design that had the same lift and duration characteristics of the 1970 W-30 automatic because I wanted to maintain vacuum for brakes and vacuum controls. I replace the distributor with an electronic ignition. The car came with the wrong carb so I sourced out the correct 7040251 Rochester and it is on the vehicle. I replaced the old headers with jet coated new ones. I did not have the car dynoed but the shop that built it speculates that it is probably putting out about 400hp at the crank. The interior has been replaced with original reproductions - carpeting, eats, eadliner, oor panels. I sourced out a new dash to replace the original which had a very small crack in it. 99% of the world would probably have never even noticed it but I wanted this done right. The transmission that shipped with the car was a Turbo 350 which is incorrect. I sourced a correct case for the TH 400 and had it rebuilt and had a shift kit and a 2500 stall converter installed. Changing from the incorrect 350 back to the 400 required a new driveshaft. Since the car has only about 1200 miles on it since the engine/transmission, have the transmission set to shift at 3500 rpm so I haven’t Hot rodded it at all. I have manually shifted it to 4500 rpm max and car was still pulling but that was my limit. The differential is a numbers matching, 2 bolt, .23 posi. The electrical wiring has been replaced with reproduction specific to the car and is 100% reliable.
The original GM air-conditioning compressor has been rebuilt and blows cold with R-134A. Also a new A/C condenser/radiator was installed at the same time.
A reproduction radio was installed. The antenna is installed in the replaced windshield which is correct for the car but doesn’t provide great reception.Typically I would use my phone and the MP3 connection to play my music anyhow. The single unit front speaker is a reproduction of the 2 speaker (L and R) original design which didn’t provide very good audio response but is correct. The two rear speakers were replaced with reproductions and sound great.
The odometer shows a little over 63,000 but was replaced by the previous owner so I do not know an exact mileage. The body is straight and true and the car is just very sorted.
Enjoy - I will miss it!

If you have read down this far hopefully you have realized that this thing is not only the real deal but a very very nice car. I am selling it at no reserve and whoever gets this vehicle will be 100% satisfied. Check my feedback rating. I have bought/sold several Big Ticket items on eBay and have tried to portray this car to the best of my ability. The car is listed locally as well so I reserve the right to pull the listing at any time. If you are really interested shoot me a line and I will gladly discuss the vehicle with you. I have included a lot of images here so you can be sure you see what you are getting and can send you a "walk around" video so you can see/hear the vehicle running. Just shoot me a pm with your email or a number I can text it to.
Also included is a color matching car cover and even 2 matching camp chairs so that you look as good as you possibly can when showing off this gem at your local cruise night or car show.
