Oldsmobile Hurst Oldsmobile 15th Anniversary / Cutlass 1983 Description
Please if you don't plan on buying an item don't hit the buy it now and say to cancel the auction because your phone bid on its own thanks. If you are looking for a reasonable G body muscle car to drive and repair as you go along this is the car. I have all the receipts from the previous gentlemen who owned this vehicle before me, and he spent quit a bit of money on the mechanical aspect of the vehicle.I will list them at the end of the listing. The car is far from being a show ca, but has the potential to become a really nice car. The body is decent for its age there a few dings and scratches here and there, the passengers floors are in really nice shape rockers and inner rockers are also nice. The trunk floor is solid except for the drivers side were it meets the drop down panel it could use a little attention in that one area. The seats have been recovere, its not the right cloth but it does look nice. The original motor was replaced with a 455 with about 85,000 mile, stated to me by the previous owner. Transmission was overhauled when the motor was installed in the car, he also but big block springs in the car. The front end was completely rebuilt tie rod, ball joints, tie rods and center link. Car drives nice and straight at all speeds. Brakes areingood shape as well asthe tires.Chrome rims are clean and edges are not all banged up. Exhaust is new with some nice sounding mufflers. This car originally came with A/C but with the big block install they had to remove part of the outer A/C fiberglass housing in the engine compartment, they made a flat cover to cover the opening. I do not have any A/C parts for the motor pulleys brackets and such I have seen one of these cars before with a big block in it and it had the A/C fiberglass unit in it with working A/C . T top rubbers were also installed by previous owner. The car is registered and I am driving it around town so the mileage may be a little bit more at auctions end. The car was garaged kept by the previous owner and me as well.If you have any questions pleas ask. Like most people I have to many other car projects going on at once and don't have the time for one more.I have included a shortU tube video ofthe car.The winner will get all receipts from the previous owner, and I have a couple of parts that came with the car. Clean MA title in hand will be mailed out to the winner.
