Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1955 Description
This awesome ride was purchased from the state of Nevada andrestored in 2013.There is approximately 2,000 miles on the rebuilt original 324 Rocket V-8 engine. It has a4-barrel carburetor, the original Hydra-Matic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. A larger, more efficient, custom radiator was added to accommodate the air conditioning that was added also. There was virtually no rust when the major restoration began. The custom paint of Caspian Cream and Polar White are original 1955 Oldsmobile colors andthe custom interior of Polar White and Greyaccents the paint nicely. This car is an award winner! It has received many awards ranging from Best in Class, Best Interior andBest Engine all the way to Best in Show. It has been featured on the Street Rodding American Style television show andin an article on Hotrodhotline.com.
