Oldsmobile Cutlass 1990 Description
This car was my daily driver up until about three months ago. No reason, other than I found the Smart car I wanted. This car averages about 22 to 28 MPG. I have had the car for three years and have driven it from New Jersey to Maine, Indiana and several trips to northwest Pennsylvania with no problem. The car has the dings and scratches for the age of the car. There are no lights on. There are no leaks. The inside is cloth seats. No tears or rips, some fading due to use and age. The front seat is bench with fold down armrest. It is automatic on the column. There are no airbags, only seat belts. The New Jersey inspection is good until 2018. I have replaced the windshield (cracked), coolant tube, bypass pulley and fuel regulator. Allthe tires are relatively new (from Walmart). Only one picture due to only allowed 12 free, will email more if interested. The cruise control works great, all power items work except power antenna, it stays up.Now for some of the negatives about this car. The air compressor froze up and was never replaces so there is no air conditioning. All the wires are still there so it would be easy to replace, just never did. It had a bypass pulley when I bought it. The headliner started to sag so I fastened it up with some metal strips, not right but it works. The gas gauge does not register properly, when it reads just below 3/4 you have to get gas (about 220 to 240 on the odometer). Due to heat, the dash is raised around the defroster vent, have cover but no on.
The biggest negative about this vehicle is that someone prior to me changed the spark plugs and cross threaded the front middle one. I changed plugs but did not correct the threads. You can feel a miss when first starting the car but gets less after it worms up. I tuned the car up three years ago and it has not caused me any major problems.
The radio has been replaced with a Pioneer CD player AM/FM radio which works really well.
If you want to test drive the car you may contact me and we will set up a time. The car is in New Jersey. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere.
I am relisting this car after a winning bidder never showed up, so bid only if you are serious about the car, thanks
