Oldsmobile Cutlass 19730000 Description

I just talked with the guy that previously owned this car and he says it was originally owned by a funeral director. The car was on the road several years age and when he purchased the car it had 33000 on the odometer. He claims to have the transmission rebuilt and says it will burn tires into third gear. I have never drove the car but it will start and run just won't idle. Someone must have swapped out the original card for an edelbrock carburetor 4bbl but it won't idle unless you keep the gas pedal down some. I don't think this carburetor will work on the original intake manifold esp with the spacer that they used to clear all the other things that are in or near the carburetor area. You can get the original carburetor at Autozone or on line for around $400 and than i believe it will run fine. I have lost interest in the car and this is why it's on here. I have all the original trim as you can see on the pics i provided. The rear bumper is good and straight and the front bumper is very nice all over. It comes with a new vinyl top also. You will need to tow or transport this car upon full payment. The bodywork was done already to the rear wheel wells and from what i see it they used metal to repair the wheel well edges. The car has a nice straight body and the interior should clean up like new. There are no rips or wearing in the seat fabric itself. The undercarriage is great by all means and the trunk just has a couple small holes nothing major. Floor boards are good also. This is the best knowledge i can give you about this car. I will assist in loading the car for shipping if needed. The tires hold air for a couple days in which i have a garage with tools and air compressor to make sure the tires are pumped up for you. Like i said the engine runs fine with no smoke and will go right into gear however i have not drove this car ever. Black and green is the original colors to this car.
