Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1948 Description

This vehicle is a part of a collection that has been in my family for years. It's an original rust free vehicle with paint. trim and convertible top updates within the last few years. Exterior has no rust and paint is in good shape. The chrome is original and does not show signs of pitting. The original spinner hubcaps remain with this vehicle. The wire wheels that are presently on the vehicle are reproductions. Convertible top is not functioning. top motor is running. needs hydraulic line. Floor and trunk pans are solid. The 303 engine runs great. Carburetor and intake have been replaced with 4 barrel. but we still have the original intake and carb. The valve covers were replaced with 1952 Rocket valve covers. Engine and transmission do not have any issues. The interior is in good condition. The carpet has been replaced with after market carpet and is showing wear. The seats are not original leather. They have been recovered and they are showing stress cracks. but overall in good condition. The steering wheel and horn cover are both in excellent condition. Original am radio has been rebuilt and works well. We have been in the car business for more than 50 years and this beauty was tucked away due the originality and pristine condition. Unfortunately. due to health reasons. we have let this one go.
