For sale is an authentic 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Indianapolis 500 Festival Pace Car. This car is a documented and true Festival 500 car #107, riven by F. Bailey of Avis and designated for track use on the day of the race. This a great car that is not only very presentable, ut also very functional. It is ready to cruise in! This is a rust-free California car and the sheet metal is solid as can be. The underside is immaculate and this Delta has the nicest undercarriage I have EVER SEEN on a classic car. 44,103 miles, he steering wheel has more grain than I have ever seen on a rally wheel! Sunroof works well. The sunroof has new seals and gaskets, lso I replaced the left and right cables which are super hard to find. The headliner is new. The carpet is new. The windhsield is new. The driver and passenger door seals are new. The trunk seal is new. I put an NOS analog clock in the car. The black is still original paint which is absolutely amazing to find! (Does have crows feet especially by the rear side window which it probably did in 1980 as most of these did as it was a factory defect). The black looks good considering it is nearly 40 years old. The original paint does show its age, owever, t is so nice to find original paint and you know that the car doesn't have body filler in it. The silver was faded and so it was painted over five years ago. Decals and stripes are great. The tires have good tread, ut expect some weather checking. The brake shoes, rums, otors, alipers looks very nice. The brake and fuel lines are nice. The dash pad has cracks in it like all of these do. The dash is a very replacable part, ut not necessary. The interior is original, o expect wear, ut still nice. There is some sunfade on interior by rear window, tc. The seat cover conditon is very decent, ome marks, ut not rips. The interior is very clean and good smelling. There is a dent in deck lid, couple dents from something in the trunk, few door dings, ne slightly worse door mark, ut really nothing major at all. Really, am extremely pleased with body and the undercarriage. I just can't tell you how many compliments I get everywhere driving this. You just don't see these around, nd if you do see them, hey are in a shed, ot drivable, eeding everything, ust buckets, nd not sunroof cars. This car is maintained to factory specifications and parts and stored in a nice, limate-controlled shop throughout the year. This is the best Delta Pace car you will find for price! I have enjoyed this for years and now I would like to find a new home for it. I tried to do my best to describe the condition of the car.
