Oldsmobile Cutlass 1969 Description
69 Cutlass all original but the paint with factory number matching 350 2 barrel and 4 speed muncie transmission. This car has 75k orig miles and was found in a garage stored and last plated in 1999. It has power nothing. No power steering, no power brakes, and no air conditioning. Bench seat 4 speed from the factory. There are some rust bubbles on all 4 corners not through second backside metal and one repaint with a quarter replaced (skin) approx 30 years ago. I flushed out the gas tank, put in a new fuel sending unit, prepped engine via mystery oil for a few days and it fired right up and runs excellent. After intial start, burning off the lubrication, there is no smoke, no knocking, no squealing although the fuel pump will probably need replaced from it being dry. I drive it currently. Someone put on dual exhaust at one point, but a very nice base for restoration as under the hood is very original including hose clamps, wiring, rubber, etc. Its not a W car but I imagine just as rare. How desirable it is I dont know but have never seen another one like it or heard of one like it. 50 and 51 paint code on cowl tag. Original bias ply tire in the trunk. Needs restored. Ask any questions and or look at photos. More photos to come but wanted to get it listed. The car is not shiny as it was raining but very straight. On Apr-29-17 at 18:43:00 PDT, seller added the following information:Has both Oldsmobile original rubber floor mats, I dont think much of anything has been changed, even the hoses as one is painted as it comes from factory, needs seat covers drivers side is torn away where you get in, I have not vacuumed nor cleaned anything, its just as I got it minus the oil change, gas tank straps, sending unit, and battery. Fuel tank is spotless. Pictures are of the floor and quarter panel from underneath, there is no rust through anywhere. Paint codes are 52 and 50 not 51 but cannot change it. Crimson red and white. Reverse lockout works as it should and the key buzzer as well. 12 bolt Olds rear, frame is also rust free along with the trunk floor. Any rust you can see can be wiped off as its surface. You can take the bolts off without snapping them, windshield is cracked. needs rear package tray. All rust pictured. I have an aluminum headed 455 with 4 speed crank ready to go and a 425 manual crank with rods for another but have 2 of these 69s the other being an automatic and wanted to keep this one original. If you need anything else let me know and I will answer or take a picture. Serious only. Thanks.
