1954 olds 88 two door sedan

Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1954 Description

This is a 1954 olds 88 two door sedan. The car has a 350 olds rocket engine and a 350 turbo trans. The brakes are front and rear drum with a power brake booster from a mid 80's cutlass. The car runs and drives ok. All the gauges work and

glass is ok. The heater core has a leak so I disconnected the hoses to it. I only drive it in the pleasant months so not an issue for me. Also the wipers do not work but again I don't drive it on bad days. I have gotten caught in a unexpected

summer shower and was happy to see the almost vertical windshield did a good job of deflecting rain off as I drove. The car has manual steering but with the massive steering wheel provides easy leverage to steer. It has old bias tires

with good tread still on them so I have not replaced them. I have driven the car on the hottest of summer days with no problems. The only issue the car has is the fuel tank leaks above the filler nec, ut only if more than 5/8 full and it is only

a small drip at that. The most I put in it is a half tank that is more than enough for the type of driving I do.I now and then drive the car an 80 mile round trip to work with no problems. I have a sun visor that mounts on the front top of the roof
