Oldsmobile 442 1970 Description
1970 Oldsmobile 442 ... 344 vin. but not a real W30 but does have all the right W30 parts along with a original W30 GM hood and spoiler ( Not Repop) This was my dads car that he had purchased about 5 yrs ago and is being sold from his Estate. It was a frame off resto, Everything on the underside is painted and detailed ...It has a 1968 365HP 455 with C heads, standard bore, Nodular crank, W30 cam, TH 400 trans with 2200 stall, original 323 12 bolt (non posi) rear end. All rear control arms are aftermarket boxed in. Chrome factory rear sway bar.. Up front has wilwood disc brakes with cross drilled rotors, chrome upper A arms.. Options are ...Power steering, Power disc brakes, tilt wheel, sport steering wheel, tach and gauges, Rare speed warning, Rear window defogger, Clam shell mirrors, Factory bench seat car. 2 1/2 exhaust with correct 442 exhaust manifolds, 17 X 8 torq thrust wheels, Aluminum Radiator, The car has been in storage for the past couple yrs. There wasn't much in the car that wasn't replaced new or rebuilt.. It does run and drive good, A few issues i noticed, The choke is not hooked u, There is a small cut in the headliner (see pic) . The front bumper is the original and has not been replated but is a decent driver quality..The hood has a couple defects, small hair line crack, chip (see pics) . I do have the paint code for the car the color is called red wine pearl .The car was all taken to bare metal, I know there was new quarter skins put on due to some rust around the rear wheel wells and trunk pan..There are no rust issues i see anywhere on the car The car is nice and straight. Im sure there are things im forgetting or dont know about but i know at one time my dad had told me he had about $40,000 into the car which now days isn't hard to do. The car is very nice but not flawless. If your looking for a nice weekend cruiser this is a great car ..If your looking for a flawless $100,000 show car keep looking . I prefer serious buyers to look at the car in person if possible Just so there is no disagreements on condition of the car since not all opinions are the same.. The car is sold as is!!! I did find some pics of the restoration and will send to serious buyers if wanted. We will only accept cash in person or bank wire transfe, No checks of any kind or credit cards!! IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK OR BAD FEEDBACK CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED!! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK BEFORE BIDDING!!
