Oldsmobile 442 1971 Description

Up for sale we have a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. This is a frame off rotisserie resto that is done in a killer black and white paint scheme. These were the Muscle Cars for GM and had the 455 V8 engine with power steering and power disc brakes. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd driveline of the Oldsmobile, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of the 442. When you look down the sides you will see its laser straight with good fit of the panels. It has the dual scooped hood with the twist down hood pans. At the time of the resto new bumpers as well as other new chrome was installed. The stainless looks good as well as the glass with new weather stripping and seals. Everything is covered in the Star Lite Black paint that is accented by the White inlay on the hood. The paint has a slick finish with a deep rich shine. This is a factory vinyl top car that is also done in white. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels.

Next, e will take a look at the interior of the Cutlass. On the inside it has the correct bucket seats and console with the factory shifter. The seats and door panels are the white pearl. The carpet as well as the dash is black. Also it has wood grain on the dash and on the door panels. This 442 has factory tilt wheel and deluxe wheel as well as having the AM FM Radio.

Finally, e will take a look at the driveline of the Oldsmobile. Under the hood it has a 455 V8 that is mated to a 400 Turbo Trans. The engine is dressed with an aluminum intake. It retains the factory manifolds and stock dual exhaust. The engine bay is clean, eat, nd looks all correct. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look under I the pans look like new with a new one piece trunk pan.
