Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 1987 Description
Thank you for looking at our eBay posting. for many years we have successfully posted probably 25 what we refer to as "Grandma / Grandpa"cars. . . . these are cars that we hand select either from estates that we are handling or from a vehicle donation auction we attend every week. this auction used to be a treasure trove for the type of vehicle we specialize in (older, primarily one owner low mileage / estatecars) if you go back through our feedback you'll see dozens of very happy customers . . . . .however for reasons that I am not quite sure of . . . the quality and quantity of these "special" vehicles has pretty much dried up..... that is ...... until this past week..... we bought two absolute beautiful gems both of which we are posting on eBay today . . . .one is a gorgeous 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 "Royale" with a very low 58,608 original miles. The other is a fantastic 1988 Cadillac Coupe Deville "Couronne" Edition" with just 84,382 original miles. mileage on both cars is 100% guaranteed genuine via CarFax and AutoCheck.
both of these vehicles are ONE OWNER vehicles . . . both have their ORIGINAL Connecticut titles. both vehicles were clearly always garaged both vehicles were owned by people in their 80's or 90's . . . . .both have PERFECT CarFax reports (NO accidents or issues) . . . . both of these vehicles have been checked by our mechanic and run and drive great . . .their transmissions shift great on both . . .the brakes are good . . .tires are good everything seems to be an order. . . all fluids have been checked and topped up if needed. . . .we have driven both of these vehicles over 100 miles since we purchased them just to "stretch their legs" and just to put some miles on them no issues found they are really two amazing vehicles.
this auction is for the 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 "Royale"
if you arein the market for a 1980's Oldsmobile Delta 88. . . .HERE IT IS. . . . .this is definitely a nice one ! ! ! . . . .this car has been garaged since the day it was bought . . .it was owned by a non-smoking lady. no kids and no pets
THIS IS A ONE OWNER ESTATE CAR (OWNER WAS 86 YEARS OLD)
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS OF TITLE AND PAPERWORK
Thank you for looking at our eBay posting. up for sale today is a beautiful 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 "Royale" withjust 58,608 original miles. this is a ONE OWNER -ESTATE CAR. . .the previous owner was a 86 year old lady who passed away earlier this year. she was the ONLY driver and this car was her "baby". it runs and drives great it's in overall GREAT condition.
ORIGINAL OWNERS BIRTHDATE ON TITLE IS 5/4/30 MAKINGHER 86 YEARS OLD
it goes without saying this car has the usual long list of power and luxury features all of which seem to work fine. mechanically this car is great. . . HOWEVER. . .my mechanic (who by the way was not born when this car was made) indicated that it is possible that the car has the ORIGINAL PLUGS, WIRES, FILTERSetc. . . because it has such low mileage I guess they just were never changed . . . .it runs and drivesfine. . .but in orderto run 100% smooth as silk . . I personally would do a full tune up. . . .(considering the wires and plug are almost 30 years old). . . .the brakes are perfect, the transmission shifts flawlessly, the interior is fantastic (lighters and ashtray never used) . . .NO issues with suspension. another thing is this car does not leak oil or any other fluids. I have a cement floor garage that is a immaculate. the car does not leak anything I was very impressed with that. the car has a very nice Pioneer aftermarket AM/FM/CD unit w/Remote and removable faceplate.
both of these cars are estate cars . . . ESTATE FRESH ! ! !
another thing definitely worth mentioning is that because of the age of the vehicle. it can be registered and insured very inexpensively as an antique or classic vehicle. I do not have the numbers in front of me but I think full coverage from bumper-to-bumper is under a thousand dollars a year if memory serves. also parts for these cars are VERY VERY inexpensive. . .I did a quick eBay search . . .I spent a few minutes looking on eBay. . .parts are plentiful and CHEAP !
The overall condition is FANTASTIC . . . . . the burgundy paintwork is very nice. . . .it does need one of the plastic "filler panels"on the body replaced. . .again. . .they are very cheap to buy . . .the chrome on the car is GREAT. . . . . . the plush burgundy velour interior, there are no check engine lights on. . . .the car has the original owners manuals and booklets in the glove box . . . .PERFECT Carfax report.
the paint looks great, nice deep shine, but keep in mind this is a nearly30-year-old car and will have the expected dings, scrapes, flaws and scratches. nothing glaringly objectionable . . . overall THIS CAR IS AMAZING ! there issomething about the monochromatic color that is very striking. . . .VERY beautiful.
the virtually indestructible 3.8 LiterV6 engine (its one of the BEST engines GM ever made) . . .
NO smoke
NO ticking
NO knocks
NO noises
NO issues
NO leaks
the transmission shifts flawlessly (its too cold hereto try the air-conditioning)headliner is droopy (typical GM issue) it is nicely pinned up (very secure now). . . . .
