Up for no reserve auctionis my super nice and all original 1991 Mercury Capri Convert. One of the nicest in existence. Purchased several months ago from second owner. Always garaged,always maintained by both owners. Silver paint is still nice, no checking or fading. Nice interior, top, back plastic glass, etc. Has the Mazda 323 platform with the 1.6 liter DOHC motor. 4 Speed overdrive automatic transmission. Starts runs, drives great.Nice newer tires. Has a few dings and dents, and is not perfect, but quite nice to show at car meets, use as your weekend fun car, or even your daily driver. Gets around 28 MPG. Built from 1991-1994 by Ford of Australia for the USA market. I bought one new in 1991 and drove it for 4 years. It was a blast! Bought for my 16 year old son recently, but he decided he didn't want a convertible. I paid $3,300 here in Ocala, Fla. and JUST installed a new drivers side power window mechanism, at the cost of $475.00! However most parts other than that particular piece are plentiful and cheap. There are several parts suppliers out there. Starting auction at $2,900 no reserve. My loss and time is your gain! Where can you get a sports car, convertible, daily driver for this price?
