Mercury Other 1951 Description
1951 Mercury Woody Wagon Restro Mod CustomYou will not find another one with the steel this solid & straight and yes it still has the factory inner & outer rockers. 95% of the factory floor pans and roof drip rails that are still in very good condition. The body has been media blasted and sealed in an epoxy primer with zero body filler used and the underside of the body has been sealed with an commercial undercoating. All the front clip sheet metal is also very solid & straight. media blasted and sealed in an epoxy primer just like you see the body here. I also build a super custom frame for it that the body is just setting on for now. It has Air Ride Suspension that will truly drive & handle like a modern sport SUV and lay frame. Up front it has Strut style IFS with a Power Rack and large 13" Disk Brake and not your street rod MII crap. In the rear it has an IRS 8. 8 posie rear end setup from an Mark VIII with large 11" Disk Brakes. The orginal mercury frame main rails have been boxed plus the X member has been reinforced also. has motor & trans mounts for an LS7 with a 4L6e but will work with a SBC & Turbo 700r or 4L6e. The frame has been powder painted gloss black and it comes with 16" rollers from the lincoln mark 8 pictured here. Also has the stock dash. Window garnish moldings. Rear 3pc bumper and the rear spear tire housing. No Wood. No Engine or Transmission. No Seats. No Grill. No Lights and No Steering Column. I have had more than a few inquires wanting to know if I would sell the Frame only and for how much. The answer is YES $12k firm or you can buy a Art Morisson frame for around 20k that will require your floor pans to be butchered and will not handle or drive any better !!!! !!!! Interested Call Rick Erickon / Extreme Kustoms 951 678-3520 as we are in the SHOP WORKING and do not have much computer skills or time for it.
