Mercury barn find 5 window coup 1947 Description

Selling a 1947 Mercury 5-window coupe. This was a true barn find before me. An old timer collected parts for this project for years and than passed away. The car sat inside for a long time. It has original frame and body. Frame has been blasted and painted. It has a fatman 5" drop front axle( not picutred ) with disc brakes, ford 9" rear end posi with disc brakes. It is sitting on 5 spoke cragars. It has a good fresh 283 cu in with 3 dueces. it has a fresh 700R4 with shift kit by Performance Transmisssions. Frame is mint condition, body is excellent. you can see the rust it had after blasting it. New seats front and rear. new gas tank from Bob Drake. Corvair steering box. New drive shaft. The best part may be the collection of body parts that comes with this. total of 5 doors, 3 dash boards, 6 fenders, boxes of chrome/SS. All the xtra body parts are in excellent condition.
