Jeep Wrangler 19870000 Description
Up for grabs is this one-off custom Transformers-themed Decepticon Jeep Wrangler TJ. This thing is a bad -ass show winner and is priced to move! Completed in the summer of 2010 it has been a winner in every show it has entered. See attached photos. Although the pics just don't do this thing justice. In addition to being a show winner it's equally a blast to drive even at highway speeds. This thing gets looks and compliments all day long everywhere it goes. I can't tell you how many times I see folks snapping pics from their car. If you're a single guy? You won't be for long with this! I'll just leave it at that. I have put maybe 8000 miles on this since completed mostly to and from shows and to the beach in OC MD a few times. Anyone who has ever built a one off custom from the ground up should know what it takes logistically as well as financially to put together show winning quality. This could not be duplicated at twice the asking price which is more than fair. No V6 and plastic fenders here! You get solid V8 power combined with old school brute strength steel fenders to complete a well rounded package of fun! Go big or go home! Purpose built to be IN YOUR FACE! Please read carefully. When you ask me a question be sure the answer you seek has not been mentioned here. I will cover the meat and potatoes here as there would be pages and pages to type to describe every little detail. For serious bidders I will answer more technical questions and provide additional pics as EBay only allows 24 photos and I have over a thousand pics of the build alone, lus videos. You will see in the pics a piece of each stage of the build. 5 people all with either professional automotive trade or engineering backgrounds contributed their skill sets to complete this build in a 10 month time span. I have all the documentation and receipts totaling well over 70k and these will go with the new owner.We'll start with the drive train: 400+hp guaranteed to bring giggles smiles and smirks! Folks...its 400hps....in a Wrangler. Street legal! This thing LAUNCHES! Engine/trans combo is a 5.9liter magnum dodge from a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500. Engine was completely rebuilt and punched out to a 6.1 liter. Fuel injection system with upgraded injectors Matching computer tune allows communication between Dodge drive train and stock Jeep dash cluster Edelbrock#350-61779 Chrysler Magnum Performer RPM Heads Roller rockers/lifters from Comp Ceramic coated headers lead way to true dual exhaust custom bent into and out of flow master mufflers. Dressed with Mopar Jeep Valve covers and air cleaner (it's a kit you can purchase from Mopar) 200 AMP alternator (for additional lights and sound system) 47 RE Trans was rebuilt and mated to the Jeep TJ T-case rebuilt to withstand the motor and trans. This was retained to utilize the T case output speed sensor and speedo gear swap to correct for speedometer correction due to larger gears and tire size. Transmission responds quickly and shifts smoothly Rear diff is a Currie High-Pinion Dana 60 with 4:56 gears and disc brake conversion with G2 aluminum Diff cover Front diff is a stock D-35 housing with Yukon axles and 4:56 gears. Also G2 aluminum Diff cover Tires are Nitto Mud Grappler 38.5s Wheels are Jeep bolt pattern 5 on 4.5s 15 X 12 Weld Wheel Stone Crushers. Folks these are very rare wheels in this bolt pattern. You cannot buy them new. This Jeep comes with 5 of them!! Real aluminum non clear coated. (These are high maintenance wheels meaning you have to polish them with mothers polish every 6 months which I do every month) Suspension: 5.5 inch Rubicon Express Long Arm Lift Construction. Rubicon Express compiled this kit as one of the toughest suspension kits on the market. The lower arms are made of 2 inch by 0.250 inch wall Chromoly tubing. Chromoly is strong, ight, nd ready for whatever you encounter on the trails. The longer arms improve the suspension geometry, educing torque roll and granting excellent on and off-road stability. The adjustable control arm ends are serviceable Super-Flex spherical ball joints. Rubicon Express redesigned their bushings for durability. The bushings are polytetramethylene ether glycol (PT-MEG), he toughest material available for the commercial market. The coil springs are tuned specifically for your TJ. The three piece belly pan allows for easy servicing of the transmission and transfer case. This kit also includes an extreme duty cross member, ront and rear adjustable track bars, ront and rear stainless steel brake lines, ront and rear bump stops, ear shock relocation mounts, ront sway bar link disconnects, ear sway bar links, ront track bar drop bracket, ear track bar CV bracket, nd a drop pitman arm. This unbeatable system is backed by a limited lifetime warranty Rusty's High Steer with adjustable heim joints Body and Body Armor:Tub was Linex'd 2 tone black and red underside and red top side Frame reinforced and linex'd Cervini's Ram air fiberglass hood (these folks make the Eleanor kit for the Mustang) Flatty front and rear fenders from TNT Rear fenders wrap around the tub from b pillar to tailgate and are 1/4 inch plate steel and secured with stainless pinhead bolts Front fenders replace originals and are 3/16 plate steel Poison Spyder Rocker panels steel Custom flat paneled rear tailgate steel This comes with a spare tire mount-gate painted to match but never installed Lite DOT led tail lights perform brake/turn signal/reverse/park light functions Grill is fitted with billet grille inserts along with hood opening Headlights are from KC Highlights Flood/Fog lights are Fire truck style stainless steel (not plastic) with real stainless steel conduit for wire protection. Brand new half doors painted to match and never installed because I never ran with the doors on. Doors need internal hardware to complete along with interior door panels. Half doors do not require windows or track mechanisms. This will come with a set of soft half doors This will come with a soft top with full soft doors This will come with a throw over soft top (elephant ears) Roll cage is a Stock TJ cage with a Rock Hard cage kit with Custom Candy Covers (my wife is the owner of Candy Covers) All exterior surfaces were blocked smooth between each coat (6 color 6 clear) of bright fire engine red Ultra Gloss 3 stage finish. The only flaw is where the paint seems to be lifting on the rear TNT fenders where the stainless bolts attach. I have been told this was due to a chemical reaction between the stainless bolt and the finish. Fenders can be removed for this fix. It will cost at least 800 to repair. See photo. Interior: Custom Steering wheel by MOMO with Decepticon horn button attached to 4 1976 Lincoln Continental Horns (very very loud and low toned) Seats bought brand new from rugged ridge in cloth and recovered in Marine Vinyl from the folks at Driven Auto Upholstery. Very sharp and very comfortable. Flooring as mentioned above was linex'd in red Custom 16 ga steel console Laser cut and welded by Double D Fabrication in Lititz Pa.
