1982 JEEP SCRAMBLER CJ-8 SURVIVOR AUTOMATIC 6 CYLINDER ORIGINAL STOCK CJ8 CJ 8

In my opinion, there is no substitute for personal inspection of this vehicle. There is no way for me to describe all the details, flaws, blemishes, etc. on a 35 year old Jeep. This is a 1982 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 with 132,856 miles (I am still driving the Jeep so the mileage may increase). The engine is a 258 in-line 6 cylinder and the transmission is automatic. The Jeep has power steering, a 20 gallon gas tank, and of course is four wheel drive. The Jeep starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops well. The four wheel drive works as it should (transfer case works). I have a clear Wisconsin title for the Jeep that is in my name. It will need to be signed over to the new owner when the Jeep is picked up. The VIN # is 1JCCE88E3CT046503

I have driven the Jeep almost every day for the last 5 years (April – October only) and have put around 25,000 miles on it. It has been parked inside November – March and has not seen any salty roads since I bought it.

All interior and exterior lights work as they should. All gauges work as they should. The frame has surface rust only, no rust holes. The body has some rust on it. The Jeep has minor fluid leaks (power steering, transmission fluid, engine oil). The tires are brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2. The tire size is LT 30 x 9.5 R15 load range C. A 1982 factory service manual will be included and I have 2 sets of keys for it. The Jeep has a class 3 trailer hitch with wiring for trailer lights, a Rock Hard 4x4 rear sport cage, and a Tuffy storage console with stereo/CD player. Some parts/fluids that have been replaced since I bought it are as follows… radiator, water pump, thermostat, heater core, blower motor (larger YJ upgrade), hoses, belts, 4 shock absorbers, front sway bar bushings, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel gauge sending unit, carburetor rebuild, air filter, transmission fluid and filter, transfer case fluid, front and rear differential fluid, speedometer rebuild, in dash speakers, transmission mounts, windshield washer fluid pump, some freeze plugs, intake manifold gasket, front and rear driveshaft u-joints, and battery.

I also have a black OEM1/2 hardtop and the original bulkhead (matching paint) that I am willing to sell to the buyer of this Jeep for an additional $500. The1/2 hardtop and bulkhead are NOT included in this auction/sale!
