Up for sale a completely restored 1966 Jeep cj5 with is original and rare 225 do Dauntless V6. This jeep was completely taken apart and restored 5 years ago and driven very little since. The frame was dissembled sand blasted and painted transmission and t-case were checked and resealed with new clutch installed.The motor was taken apart heads done and new valves and seals installed along with a new carb,this thing runs great with good power. Front axel was rebuilt painted and installed with all new brakes rear axle was painted and also new brakes installed. At this time the painstaking decision to scrap the banged up original tub was made in favor of new glass one. The body was painted in classic green color and still looks great with very minor nicks and imperfections. The body was mounted back on the frame with all new bushings and hardware then rewired with a painless wiring harnesses, new gas tank and gas lines.New windshield and new best top soft installed with full doors were installed also all new best top front and rear seats,tires and wheels also new. There is way to much done to this jeep to list every nut and bolt was touched on this jeep and it shows. This is a turn key classic jeep from the Kaiser/ jeep era withe the rare Dauntlees v6 if have the original owners manual also that goes with it. Please call or email with questions before you bid.
