Jeep CJ 1968 Description

This is a 1968 CJ five jeep. These were produced in roughly the same form for over 30 years. They are very easy to work on, nd parts are readily available. The previous owner did a pretty good job at making this thing look original. The paint is mostly original although it has been touched up a little bit in spots not terribly well. There is some light rust on the inside of the hood. The four-wheel-drive mechanism on these should never be engaged on hard dry pavement. The speedometer lights up but the needle doesn't move. (Top speed feels like it's under 50 mph) I have not taken it apart to see why. The gas gauge is not connected. The headlights and running lights work but the turn signals do not. The reverse lights do work. The front fenders have some dings and bruises.
This is for sale in Puerto Rico USA. It might be fun to come down drive it a couple weeks and then ship it to the mainland. I could meet you at the airport in San Juan if you'd like.
