GMC Sonoma 1991 Description
As seen, this beauty comes with the custom paint job.. lol. My kids and I "murdered it out" back in 2013, adding the bat symbol and graphics on back. We did at least wash the sidewalk chalk off the truck, as it often serves as our graffiti canvas. As we all know, we live in a country where far too many people draw much of their own self worth through their things and how much better their things are than others' things. Well, this truck has been making fun of those folks for years, offering a glimpse of just how stupid materialism is...but I digress, this is about the truck!I like to take this truck to a particularly posh section of my area and find the nicest, most shiniest, most ridiculous vehicles I can find -especially those that take up more than 1 spot in hopes of others being unable to pull in- and park as close to them as possible and climb out a window- so much fun!Enough... Back to the truck. The best thing I can say about it is that is runs. It still runs quite well actually, but will need a new clutch or clutch work very soon. Otherwis, the motor still moves it forward and backward. It does have a small main seal or rear seal leak somewhere, as it does leave a few drops of oil after parking. The interior is trashed. Dash cracked, instrument panel poor but rigged to work, needs fuses, bench seat torn, passenger door and window needs work and will not open, driver door needs work but will open.. the interior is a project!Exterior is what you see. Some dents and dings, headlights, tail lights, and blinkers need help but will work. Needs paint if you want to mess up the funniest and greatest thing about the truck! The tires are actually GOOD! Windshield cracked, bed liner o.k. I never wrecked the truck and don't believe the previous owner in the early 90s ever wrecked the truck either.Like I said, it runs and it has good tires. Otherwise, everything needs work! I hope someone can use it and it goes on for another 100 k! If you'd like pictures of anything else, please let me know. I can also answer any questions you may have. This is a 1991 limited edition GMC Sonoma. It has a 5 speed, manual transmission. It can be driven away but I wouldn't recommend driving it too far. I recently drove it to our state capital and back, some 120 miles and it did fine. If you keep water in it and get the clutch some needed attention, I think it has some life left after all and surely a running truck is worth something to someone. I am afraid if it starts sitting, she'll go down quick like a person!
It is sold as is and without any return or warranty.
