1988 GMC Seirra 3500 3+3 4x4

This truck has only had 2 owners, t was purchased new by the city of Nashville as a parks department truck. It sold at auction with 53k miles to the 2nd owner which has owned it for the past 11 years and he keep detailed maintenance records since he purchased the truck in 2005. This Tennessee truck has no rust in it!

Excellent condition ’88 Crew Cab with 136k actual miles. Tough to find a 4x4, rew cab, Ton that has not been worked to death and/or rusted out. This truck is nearly 100 percent original; the only modification is a different front bumper, uburban front bucket seats & console, D player and exhaust headers. Still has the original owner’s manual. I’ll do my best to list everything about the truck but if you have any questions or need more pictures feel free to contact me.

Exterior-

The trucks original color was light tan, t has been painted in a flat military tan, he paint still shows good, ll body panels are still original and rust free, t does have some small dings and small dents in the truck as it is 28 years old. I am impressed with how well the car still looks. No rust issues at all & all VIN tags are in place. Past owner kept it under a car port for the last 11 years. All 4 doors open and close very easy, ll glass is good and all exterior lights work. Body lines and gaps are good.

Interior-

Very clean condition interior. Front bucket seats have been add out of a suburban along with the center console and roof console that were a direct bolt up, riginal rear bench seat, ll good working seat belts, ubber flooring, ash has some cracks but has a nice carpeted cover and all door panels are in great condition. Aftermarket CD player has been installed along with aftermarket speakers. AC blows cold & heat is hot. Dash gauges & cluster all work flawlessly, peedometer holds perfect with no jumping around.

Drivetrain-

Great factory 5.7 liter 350ci motor backed with a solid 400 turbo auto transmission. Dana 60’s front and rear running gear! Previous owner has keep 11 years worth of maintenance records as well as a tune ups, ebuilt transmission, luid & filter changes, ire rotations, rake work along with several new items over the years. All records will go with the truck! This truck has the tbi fuel injection system which runs great, asy starts, o smoke at start up or at operating temps. Truck runs down the road very good, ransmission shifts out great; motor is strong, rakes good, o wobbles or vibration, eared low and has 6 matching tires that have at least 60 % tread left on them. It is a pleasure to drive!

Other-

Over all this is a very clean truck inside, ut & underneath. These trucks are becoming hard to find and this one runs, rives, hifts, tops & rides great. These crew cab, +3, ton, x4 are great trucks and will soon be a thing of the past. Bid with confidence as I’m a licensed and bonded dealer in Tennessee.

Known issues-

As stated earlier, his is a very nice rust free truck that it is not perfect, nd does have some small minor dings & dents. No spare tire. Missing roof cab marker lights & rear tailgate marker lights.
