GMC Rally Van 1985 Description
I have for sale a 1985 GMC Rally Van Sport G1500 with 36,665 ORIGINAL MILES!V8 305 motor with automatic transmission. Minimal options, o air conditioning.
Former yard van for a small city in Iowa - I have all service records from new and it was meticulously maintained.
It starts every time and runs great - tons of power. Drives out fine too, ransmission shifts smoothly.
It will need front tires and possibly brake work - they operate fine but I would definitely get them inspected before driving it very far.
It will need all new door seals and maybe an alignment after it gets new tires.
As of right now it only has a driver's seat belt. I swapped out the interior for something a little more comfortable and just didn't get the belts taken care of yet.
It did just get a tune-up and oil change.
Please see pictures for details on the condition. It is probably 90% rust free but does have a little here and there. It is clean otherwise, ut be aware it is a 30 year old vehicle in pre-owned condition. If you have questions about specific items please feel free to ask.
It is definitely a project in progress, ut it doesn't need much more and it would be an awesome road trip vehicle, r even a cute little camper. There is a ton of room inside when the back seat is out.
With just a little TLC I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across country. It has tons of power and runs like a top.
Local pick-up will be free. Any shipping required must be arranged by the buyer.
I strongly encourage an inspection before bidding - if you aren't local I would be happy to forward a video of it running, nd I will answer any and all questions promptly.
