GMC 4X4 TRUCK 1969 Description
Whatyour looking at is a fantastic 1969 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 custom optioned truck. Not a Chevrolet.I purchased the truck from a car enthusiast about a year ago as it was previously owned by a contracting company, ut got very little use. Mileage shown is 42,000 miles which I believe to be original, s well as guy I bought it from thought it was original miles, ut no documentation. The mileage seems realistic as wear on original brake, lutch, as pedal look great, s well as wear on overall interior.Alsowhen transmission and transfer case was taken out at local shop they felt the same on mileage as very little wear. I have redone many 67-72 trucks and this truck had no rust (I mean zero). The engine, ransmission, ransfer case were all removed checked and resealed. New parts upon reinstall include clutch kit, ater pump, xhaust manifolds, istributor cap, ires, lugs, oses, tarter, otor mounts, lternator, tc.The interior was repainted, nd newupholstery to match factory original, ynomat, nd carpet.Airconditioning blows cold air, nd everything on truck works. When I got the truck it had a service bed on it, o I removed and replaced with an original long fleetside bed so it is back to original. The bed is in decent shape except the actual floor is a little rough. Plan is to put rubber mat in bed, ut you could always replace just the floor. The truck was soda blasted and prepped properly before paint. No moldings came with the truck from factory, o none were added.New dual exhaust, ew wheels, ew BFG all terrain tires, ew shocks. Rear hub caps are correct for era, till looking for pair of front. The truck runs great and is real smooth and quiet riding down the road. Please check out NADA values on these trucks.
