Up for bidding is a 1936 Ford Cabriolet, all Henry steel, this car had an amateur Barn restoration by the previous owners back in the late 1980s ( last two photos show the day I've pulled it out of the barn!); 12 Volt conversion for better starting, 1953 Mercury Flathead mill, juice brake conversion; body is very straight, just some small scratches and bubbling around (please see photos), some plates were welded under the rear fenders, new bumpers,re chromed hood ornament, good seat, door panels, carpet, convertible top is in good shape with no tears but looking it's age, rumble seat with good cushions, small cracks on windshield frame,door glass is original and full of spider webbing; original wheels and hubcaps, original continental kit, there's an aftermarket temp. gauge under the dash, choke and manual throttle in working condition, lights work, some of the floors were replaced when the car got restored (late1980s), the engine is a good flathead mill from a 1953 Merc, starts every time and sounds great, it is a good running car, vehicle runs and drives strong; brakes are hydraulic but it's been stored too long, that they feel spongy, car drives well/ straight, but pulls a bit to the left when using the brakes. I had the car for a couple of years, and had plans to turn it in to a nice street rod, but lack of money, time and now storage, is cancelling my dream; this car was stored in a barn for a number of years, then I purchased it, and also put it to sleep, it really needs to be driven frequently. This vehicle is registered under my name, currently registered in California, clean/clear title on hand.
