Ford Falcon 1964 Description
Trying to make room in the garage and need to let go of my falcon. It is a very rare 1964 ford falcon sprint convertible. In 1964, only 3652 were made, and only 626 did not have a center console like this one. It has ZERO rust underneath. The engine had been replaced and upgraded by the origional owner to a ford 302 with a 4 barrel carb and aluminum radiator. i have also added a 1 wire alternator to remove the generator, with the intention of wiring a fan in but have too many other projects going on to finish. It is a very solid running car, and sounds mean with glass pack mufflers. It has no abs or assist, and no power steering. front suspension has all been replaced recently and is tight, and master cyl was rebuilt a year ago. For manual drum brakes it stops pretty well. we added a radio with mp3 input on the back that looks like the factory radio. There is really only 3 issues with the car. The interior needs a little love, one of the front seats split on one of the seams, and the door panels arent perfect but overal not hatefull. The top motor is not working and was disconected by the previous owner. I have been opening it manually and its not hard to do. Finally there is a drip of trans fluid on the ground. probably just needs a trans pan seal. This is a peppy full size convertible that would be a perfect tinker car. it runs and drives great and gets looks from everyone. Please email me with any questions. Thank you and good luck!
