Ford Galaxie 1967 Description
1967 galaxie xl 289 automatic with power steering.car was barn stored a number of years,i started to get itback on its feet. new starter, water pump, heater hoses, new gas tank and fuel line, all new brakes including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, lines, and hoses. the 289 runs very well with no smoke. the trans shift very well, but not street tested. the power steering is excellent. it will need an exhaust although I have installed a like new tailpipe and muffler from a parts car. the tires are shot but hold air fine. all the glass is very respectable minor defects no cracks. the power top works fine and the well and rear glass are still in the car.the interiorspeaks for itself, driver quality except the front seats. put some new carpet in. have all exterior lights working, except actual turn signals.the car was originally dark green and someone appears to have just primed over it. there was typical patching. lower quarters etc. the rear floors have been patched, you can see the trunk floor was redone, actually pretty decent but the original is still under there and not so pretty. the left hood hinge is weak theres a good one in the trunk.the rear bumper is really nice from texas, the fronts fairly decent also. trim is so so overall.car came with an am 8 track, it is in the trunk and not working. original jack plus a few other pieces. the frameis a typical galaxie frame. I have pics of all four corners of the boxed areas. they aresolid and may need minor repair at worst. right rail is fine. the left rail has some rust, but again, very repairable. steering box area is fine. actually, I would drive it as is with out any real fear just crusing. doors shutjust fine. that's about all I can think of, there are small things that still need work as all old cars, just ask questions, that's fine. not sure whats its worth, might get cheaper if doesn't sell first time. clear title in my name. thanks!
