Ford Other Pickups 1941 Description
1941 Ford pickup. Rebuilt Buick 425ci Nailhead, built TH400 tranny, Winters Quick Change rear end with 4 different gear sets. Truck is chopped & channeled & bed bobbed 9". This is a good solid truck, runs grea, tracks straight, doesn't smoke, starts very easily, is fun to drive & is very rowdy! Engine, tranny & rear end have aprox 5K miles on them! I put expanded metal in the bed because I couldn't bear to cover up the beautiful quick change rear end! When I go out of town I run the 2.19:1 gear set but currently have the 3.77:1 gears installed. I have a bonded title in my name. I'm 6'1" & 225 & have plenty of room & headroom.I built this truck to have a ratty appearance with an emphasis on safety & reliability. I used very good parts & it has never let me down or left me stranded. It has 4-wheel disc brakes & with the Walker Big Block 4-core brass/copper radiator & 16" elec fan it *never* overheats even sitting in traffic in the hot Texas summers!
Between the aggressive stance, Big Block Nailhead & Winters Quick Change rear end this truck gets lots of attention & comments at car shows & everywhere it goes! See detailed information below!
