Condition Report:

This vehicle has been stored for years in a garage and is a nice example. It is original down to the AM radio and Ford dealer installed 1967 OEM 14" styled steel wheels with the spare - an ORIGINAL Redline Firestone Wide Oval F70-14 bias tire.

Mechanically, it runs and drives well, the engine is smooth and quiet with no valve train or other noises. It features power steering and very recently added power front disc brakes which makes this car behave very well on the road and it is a pleasure to drive. We did not check the front end components but did take a 30 mile trip without incident.

The exhaust sounds like it has glass packs from years ago. The wipers, radio, all signals, lights including the interior courtesy lights work well. It has had a recent oil change, brand new radial T/A radials (2 weeks old). We would probably service the rear end and have the bearings checked along with the front end components for safety. The underbody has had some welding done years ago but it is solid. It also dribbles some but not excessively as with most vintage cars.

Cosmetically, the vehicle has had some welding under the car from years ago when it was reconditioned years ago during the single stage enamel days. The paint is a semi-pro job from years ago, but it does shine well. There are various small marks and dents as you can see in the close photos, but we are guessing it would still win some local car shows.

Also note it is a color change as reflected by the included Marti Report. All other options are accounted for from the report aside from the recent power front disc brakes (have all original components that go with the car) and the dealer installed factory styled steel wheels.

The photos make the paint job look better than it is, but it still looks nice. The interior is also nice, and it has the factory console. There is a hint of mouse smell at times from years of storage. We recommend a spray bomb if it is a bother.

To summarize, it is our opinion that this vintage 1967 Mustang convertible would be an excellent vehicle for that Ford enthusiast or collector. With the 1967 Bullitt fastback being recently found and this year appreciating faster than most other years, it is also a great investment in our opinion. 1967 was a pinnacle year for Ford Mustangs and Shelby models.
