Ford Club Coupe 1937 Description
All Steel 1937 Ford RestoRod
This meticulously maintained 1937 FordCoupe RestoRod is available and features a new GM small block motor with less than 1000 miles. The good care that this Ford has benefited from is shown by the immaculate exterior, the pristine engine compartment and like new interior. The body is perfectly straight with uniform panel gaps. Mechanically the drive line is sound from the engine on including a new 350 cubic inch V8 engine, automatic transmission and final drive. Disk brakes bring the car to a safe stop and quickly.
All bezels andtrimare in excellent condition. Inspection will show that all instruments work (speedometer, oil pressure, ammeter, odometer, fuel level, coolant temperature). The Halibrand "kidney bean" wheels are fitted with new red line tires. Rebuilt window regulators and a new set of window glass are installed. Note that there is a slight paint blemish shown on the closeup photograph of the right rear fender. As for history, this car was a Wyoming barn find acquired from the late 1970s. As found the car was complete in every detail; those parts even down to the original, steering wheel-mountedhead light switch and gauges have been retained to this day. This coupewas subject to a frame-off restoration complete with hot tank of the body, frame and all parts in the early 1980s with additional work done as needed over the years. The resulting vehicle is solid, safe and roadworthy.
