Ford Model A 1930 Description
Time to sell my model a, owned for 17 years. Kids and I fixed it up, to use for taking them to school, or run around town. Not a show car, bought it as a basket case with new roof and floor wood. Body wood original, sealed-beam headlights, floating engine mounts are the only"modern" updates. So many new parts over the years, including front sprin, 4 tires, gas tank boiled and sealed, wiring harness, light switch, interior handles, carpet,on and on. I'm very sad to let it go, but the kids are grown, and I don't drive it nearly as much as we used to. Boxes of old and new parts included, extra front door, and a couple window regulators as an example. An absolute steal for the starting bid on an 86 year old car. I am a mechanic by trade(30 yrs) so it's not hacked together . Always garage kept, but has seen a light rain or two, it's a car after all. Centari paint, applied with help of my kids, again not a showstopper. Includes extra parts, and records of repairs, and before and after pix.On Aug-20-16 at 19:25:27 PDT, seller added the following information:
I can hold the car after paid for up to 3 weeks garaged and covered. Also it is not restored, meaning it's not finished inside, but I have fabric, new carpets, hence the low starting bid. Parts cars go for $4000, and restos $ 20000, this one is somewhere in-between
