Ford Mustang 1967 Description
1967 Mustang Fastback A Code, 289 4 speed, with 9" rear end. The car was originally dark moss green with black deluxe interior. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owners. It has a nice street cam. They added an original s2ms aluminum Shelby cobra intake manifold. Buddy Barr Casted Cobra Valve covers. Original 289 HiPo exhaust manifolds. 650 Holley double pumper carb. Cobra Oval breather. Original style dual exhaust system. The gentlemenI bought the car from had owned the car for approximately 30 years. He and his dad built the car together and it was always kept inside. They added mach 1 bucket seats, GT fog lights, Gas Cap, Emblems, and aluminum rear tail light panel. When I bought the car I added a new coil, points, condenser, new alternator and voltage reg. I also installeda new heater core and hoses. The car runs and drives excellent. The 4 speed and hurst shifter works perfect. All of the gauges, tach, and radio all work as do all the lights. Car has original Kelsey hayes twin caliper brakes and rotors. The brakes work ok but I believe the booster may need replaced before long. The body is in very good shape. The paint is 30 years old and showing wear. Back when the car was fixed during the 80's they replaced the floor pans and installed right and left side lower quarter panel patches and trunk drop offs. Some repair work was also doneto the underside of the hood. They done a good job with the repairs. The only rust we can find on the entire car is a small spot on the bottom of the drivers side door. Other than that the car is rust free. The car has the original vin stamped in the left front inner fender and the original buck plate tag. The drivers door was replaced so the door tag is missing. I have a clear title in my name. A deposit of $1,500 is due within 48 hrs of auction end and full payment due within 7 days. Please call if you have any questions or concerns or come drive the car in person. Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping....We will assist you if you need to ship the car but buyer is responsible for all cost involved. Thanks for your Interest.
