Ford Bronco 1968 Description
Great project Bronco. Lots of work already done. The previous owner installed a fresh high performance 302, new clutch, new brakes, power steering conversion, new tires. Drove it less then 1000 miles and rolled it. Took it apart, started rebuilding the body and lost interest. The good: The tub, doors and tailgate is very solid and virtually rust free (Phoenix, Az. truck), last 2 pics are close ups of the only rust I could find. The body has never been undercoated, I include pics of the underside, no surprises here. Anyone that builds these early Bronco's know how hard rust free ones are to find. Only the left door has damage from the accident (repairable, see pic). It comes with new fiberglass hood, fenders, grill and rear flairs. Good used windshield frame to replace the bent one. Nice aftermarket seats. The bad: It's been sitting for years like this. I have no idea the condition of the transmission, transfer case or axles, I assume they all worked before the accident. The odometer reads 52K, don't know if that is actual. The front aprons/ radiator support have been cut off and will need replacements, It is missing some parts, main parts I know of there is no steering column, heater assembly, radiator, headers, starter. The small parts and bolts were in boxes, please look close at the pics, I believe most everything else is there. No top or bumpers.Overall, it is an easy project, especially if you can do body/ paint work. With the recent enthusiasm for these Bronco's it's a good investment potential, that's why I bought it. Reality set in, I don't have the time or place to build it so I need to let it go. Feel free to call me at 505-453-4760 for more info or to see in person before you bid.The usual stuff: I do expect a winning bidder to make a deposit within 24 hrs and full payment within 7 days. I will assist in loading but buyer must arrange for transport. Truck and title will not be released until my bank clears the funds or I have cash in person. Thanks for looking!
