Ford Explorer 1991 Description
1991 Ford Explorer 4x4. 4.0 ohv v6 with intake, 3 row aluminum radiator, stacked plate aluminum tru-cool tranny cooler, yellow top optima battery with custom mount battery box, rebuilt heads, new door speakers, all hoses replaced, new aic, coil pack, iridium spark plugs, working a/c that will come with a new dryer and kit to convert to the new freon. Suspension done by solo motorsports. Cut and turned beams, extended radius arms with heims, 4" coils, steel braided brake lines, 10" 2.5 piggyback king shocks front with custom DOM welded shock mounts, 8" 2.5 remote king shocks rear, deaver leaf springs, 2.5" extended shackles. Front and rear diff 4.56 gears, aluminum diff cover, full manual 4x4 conversion, new warn hubs, bomz racing seats, grant steering wheel, tinted windows, 2 year old dark blue paint, 4" fiberglass fenders, 33x10.5x15 bfg all terrains with 75% tread, sandblasted and powdercoated aluminum wheels, deep dish aluminum finned transmission pan, 20" led flood light mounted (not connected), rear has toolbox with tools, spare mounted, aluminum race jack and mount, jumper/air compressor. New polyurethane body mounts and leaf spring bushings. Will come with polyurethane pivot bushings that need to be installed. $3,600 (have receipts) 2 month old built transmission A4ld upgraded with 4r44e planitary gears, shift kit, performance bands and valves, huge tranny cooler. Custom front and rear steel bumpers welded to frame with tow hitch. Seats 5. CD player/radio. Dash with no cracks. Custom made door panels. Needs about $400 in parts plus labor. If you can do the work yourself you will have a $8,000 prerunner that runs rock solid. Oil pan gasket will need to be replaced when doing work (leaks about 1/2 qt a month). Selling because I want to get 4 door truck and quads. I can tow for free within a 100 mile radius of zip code 90815. Anything further you will have to pay tow company per mile or tow yourself. Tags are current and set up to be non-op after expiration in August. A catallitic converter needs to be put on and it will pass smog.
