Ford Escort 1994 Description

1994 Ford Escort LX wagon

Street Legal Rally Car!

Car was never raced. I built it for rally racing a few months ago, but have since purchased a few new toys and kind of lost interest in this one. Runs and Drives Great!

5-Speed manual transmission (Smooth shifts, strong clutch, no issues)

1.9L I4 engine with 190,000 miles (Starts right up, runs great, zero smoke or anything)

ZERO LEAKS (That’s right, not a drop of anything)

Clean Oregon title (Tags good until October 2016)

No Check engine light or anything of the sort

Full interior strip (except dash, heater, gauges, etc)

Modifications: (All done in past 3 months)

Firestone Winterforce snow tires (Tons of grip on gravel, only 300mi on them)

NRG fiberglass racing seat (Properly installed to factory seat sliders, so its adjustable)

G-Force 5 point racing harness (Safety tags are brand new)

Front Upper Strut bar

Ralco Short Shifter

Window tint with sunstrip (Helps keep the stripped interior less noticeable from outside)

Accel ignition coil

Rear section exhaust (done very clean to look factory and isn’t too loud)

MagnaFlow Catalytic converter (Mid mounted so you can use an un-catted header and pass DEQ)

External air filter added to stock intake system (Done the right way)

3 gauge Pod on dash (Water temp, battery voltage, oil pressure)

A/C system Removed

Mud Flaps

4 fog lights on roof for night rally racing (Properly sealed to not leak in rain)

Fan hardwire to switch (So you can control when you want it on)

Custom mesh on front emblem and back bumper (Just for S&G’s)

LED Taillight/Brake light bulbs

Clear front corner lights

Racing mirror with no blind spots

Maintenance: (All done in past 3 months)

Monroe OE Spectrum struts (Front)

Moog Endlink bushings (Front. Upgraded urethane bushings)

Moog Tie rod ends

Borg Warner Coolant Temp sensors (Gauge sensor and computer sensor)

Fuel Filter

Spark Plugs, wires and Accel ignition coil

Bosh oxygen sensor (Upstream sensor)

Full Brake and Clutch system flush DOT 4 (60 miles ago)

Full synthetic 10-30 oil and Wix filter (300 miles ago)

Cooling system drained and refilled with new coolant (100 miles ago)

AND MORE STUFF I’M JUST FORGETTING RIGHT NOW

Other INFO:

It could use new windshield (Has a crack running though it. No leaks or issues though)

Sometimesit runs a little rough forliterally5secondswhen first started. (A little rev will correct it instantly)

It could use a little refresh of the cooling system. It was running at 200 degrees in winter, but now runs at 225-230 in summer. Itdoesn'tever over heat, it just runs a little hotter then id like. Car will come with new 180 deg thermostat. I'd suggest a new water pump and replace the thermostatandit should be back to 200ish. (Radiator was replaced my previous owner very recently, looks brand new)
