Ford Sunliner 1954 Description
This is a solid 1954 ford convertible. It has a great floor in it from a hardtop car which is idntical. The 1/4 panels are from the same 2 door hardtop. The rear wheel tire openings had been cut out for raceing tires at some time so the 1/4's have filler where the tire openings have been put back to original. All the convertible parts are added as original. It has the convertible frame installed. The rest of the car body is very solid. The motor sounds good but smokes a little when you start it,The rear end has a whine in it but I have another to go with it. I don't have the 4 pieces of chrome for the belt line or the interior metal garnish upper windsheild moulding. I have the inner windshield upright garnish mouldings but they are pitted. I don't have the top motor or any cylinders.I do have the top switch. The top bows aren't on the car. The front top bow has rust that needs patched. Also I have the rear armrest that need some patching. The car has a single exhaust on it. It stops, runs, and drives but needs finished. We do a little more work on it as time allows. I do have a decent rear seat, The bottom part is covered. The back needs finished. I do have the bumpers and side stainless/chrome I am a Kansas dealer so Kansas residents need to add 8% sales tax. Other states pay in their home states. I need a 500.00 deposit within 48 hours and the balance within a week. I prefer a wire transfer or cash on the balance The car can stay here with inside storage for a month for free if needed. I can assist with loading. If your close and want to see or drive the car or want more information call me 816-506-3789 Thanks, Scott This car is a work in progress. The car may have a light blue primer next time you see it as we are working on it. I plan to finish this one this summer. If you can do some work on your on this is the time to buy as I have to pay a shop to paint it.On May-23-16 at 11:41:55 PDT, seller added the following information:The top bows are there but have rust. They are folded in the down and I am lubricating them with penatrating oil. Some of the bows need the end rebuilt as they are rusted off. I see one piece of aluminum that will need the hole welded/ repaired where a pin goes for 1 bow. I think that may be the one that was broken on each side. I think the bows are complete just need some repairs. I'll try to get a picture but it's raining hard today. Thanks again, Scott
