Ford COE 1979 Description
Up for auction with "no reserve" is a 1979 Ford C-Series model C7000 Cab Over (Tilt). It has a low mileage Factory rebuilt Cat 3208 Diesel Engine with an automatic Allison transmission. Not sure how many miles on the engine but it has had only 206 miles put on it since 2008.The Truck itself has less than 53K documented miles, t starts right up and drives great. It has been maintenance and used on a regularbasis. It was mainly used to move trailers around the lot by U.C Davis. It is currently registered as Low Usage in the state of California.Would be great to convert to a toy hauler or used to pull a 5th wheel for private use. Check with your local laws about using for commercial use as there may be restrictions. The tires in the rear are newer and the fronts are in good shape. The fuel tank and air system were updated. It has an ac unit on top that can be removed or repaired as it doesn't turn on. The fuel gauge doesn't work but everything else works as far I know.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as vehicle is listed for sale locally and is subject to prior sale. I will coordinate pickup with shipper and there is no major rush to move it. I am available to show the vehicle and recommend viewing before buying. Vehicle is for sale as is and without warranty. Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours and balance due within 3 Days unless arrangement is made. Balance to be paid via wire transfer, oney order or cashiers check, ehicle will not be released until money clears. Please feel free to ask questions. The last picture is what I was going to do to it but plans changed, y loss is your gain.On Mar-08-16 at 09:31:46 PST, eller added the following information:
The truck does have freeway gears and has no problems going 70+ mph. There is no cancer in the cab and it is mechanically sound. The height of the truck from ground to roof is 7ft 7inches.
