You are bidding on a solid 1988 ford Thunderbird turbocoupe. Adult owned, am the second owner, nd it pains me to sell it, ut life has it's good and bad times, nd this is the second of those two for me. I have owned it for 4 or 5 years now. Sorry about the pics, he first pic is from the last time I had it out about 6 months ago and took it to the car wash, he rest from today, he lighting today was not so good, nd the car is very dirty. I took it up to the car wash, aited in line for 30 minutes, hen got to the front and noticed I forgot my wallet, nly to turn out of the parking lot disgruntled with myself and get a ticket for illegal left turn. Again, ife can suck, o I'm not going back. I will be as honest and descriptive as I can be, s I have never bought or sold a car like this and please only bid if you are serious. I'm starting at .01 and going no reserve really hoping like crazy it will sell for what it's worth. I have a ton in it and may get my heart broken here, ut if so, o ahead and pile it on life. There are other Thunderbirds out there, ut man, his car is a solid specimen, he underneath of this car is not rusty at all nor are the quarters, ockers, nything other than a scratch that is pictured that caused the paint to flake off and developed some surface rust. Overall looks great! A little paint flaking on the plastic bumper cover, nd the paint is a little age faded, polisher would do it wonders, nd there is one more door scratch that I thought was worth picturing, nd likely to be some small dings here or there that I don't think are worth mentioning. Inside is very clean and nice, nd everything works as it should, ee below for more details. Issues:Under the hood is dirty at the moment, nd so is the body,The actual reflective mirror part of the passenger side mirror is missing.One of the clips on the horn button either came loose or is broken, o one side sticks up a littlePulled the hood release one time, nd it broke off the molding, o now it hangsReplaced the Heater core, hich involved the dash and console coming out, 0 year old plastic clips are fragile, nd a few broke, t went back together great and looks great, ut it's just not quite as solid as it was before in my opinion, he speaker grills on the dash have broken clips, nly affects passenger side, ut will need replaced, r just stuck down with something on the bottom.Also drained the AC for the heater core project, efilled it after and it worked for the rest of the summer, ut doesn't blow cold now, o there must be a slow leak somewherePut a new radio in because the factory one didn't work, ound out it doesn't have premium sound, hich is rare for a turbocoupe, as 2 speakers in the dash with sound quality about like a cell phone, nd the other speaker covers are wired, ut no speakers.Turbo seems to spool up great in 2nd and 3rd, ut not as well in first, hough I don't really have the nerve to floor it in first and find out if it will boost strong. The vacuum lines are all factory old and dry, nd may need to be gone through or replaced, nd that probably has a lot to do with it.The dual exaust is missing part of the the pipe on the passenger side from about the rear wheel back, as like that when I bought it.The antenna was left up in a car wash and won't fully retract now because it is slightly bent.The Great:Power seats, ocks, indows, eyless entry, ide control, verything works as it should.Good tires, nd you can let go of the steering wheel on the highway and it stays true, nd the suspension feels very good, nd the car sits right, ery solid.Things I have done include- Heater core, ot a cheapy, ord parts only. Had the speedometer rebuilt and calibrated, s the needle actually fell off shortly about a year after I bought it. Wheel bearings on both sides in the front. New radio/cd/mp3 player ready. I have a manual boost control valve and kit, ew, ut never installed, s well as a higher psi fuel pump, rand new, ever installed.K&N filter, ut that's really the only mod5 speed shifts nice and smooth, ever had any issuestrunk is clean and new looking with a full size spareOriginal window sticker, nd owners manual,Been garaged almost constantlyCar is ready to drive home to anywhere in the country, have not taken it on a long drive in some time, nd it has sat a lot over the last few years, ut fired right up today after a long sit and drove very well, have no reason not to trust it, t has always ran really well, nd problem free.I will post updates if I think of anything else, nd please feel free to ask questions and I will get back when I can.
