Ford F-100 1955 Description
This 1955 F100 was my grandfather’s old truck. She is all original with only 67,135 miles! My grandfather purchased it from the Co-op where he worked at the time and used it for a few years before parking it. On occasion it was used around the farm to run errands and the last time he used it was during the late 90s to haul some irrigation pipe around the field. He was surprised how easily it started up after being parked so long. It then sat unused as you see it today.Straight 6 with 3 on the tree.
I put air in the old Co-op tires and they all filled up and held fine and have held for over a week. I did not take the time to try and start it up so bid assuming it needs engine work. I am sure the brakes need work as well. This is an old unrestored truck and she will need a lot of work, ut it is sure to be lots of fun!
I think the tailgate is around the farm somewhere but bid assuming it is not included. If it can be located it will be included.
The windshield is good and has one rock chip that can be easily repaired. The side windows and rear glass are cracked and will need to be replaced. The seat needs reupholstered. The bed has deterioration and needs restored, ed sides are not bad, he cab and front end are very solid with only a couple of holes and some surface rust, he driver front fender had a dent that would be easy to push out, he running boards are solid but have some deterioration. All 4 original Ford hubcaps are still on the original wheels.
Overall this is a very solid un-restored F-100 especially considering it is 60 years old. This cool old truck would make a great candidate for restoration in my opinion.
The old Utah title from 1973 is accounted for and in my possession along with the truck key. It may make it easier to get an updated title for the sale and we will make sure everything goes smooth. From my experience Utah is really quick to issue new titles.
The local U-Haul has flatbed trailers you can rent to get it home. I sold a Mustang last year and their trailer worked out great for the buyer. The truck is located 2 hours from Salt Lake City in Roosevelt Utah.
This will make a cool mechanically restored survivor truck or restore it to show quality. It is up to you.

I reserve the right to end the auction in the event of a local sale et cetera.
Finding an original, nrestored step-side Ford F100 this old is a rare find.
Grab it up!
