This Auction is for a real deal barn find! This 1940 Ford sedan was being built as a hot rod in the mid 50's, fter it was finished up with its white paint job and black tuck and roll interior it was placed in a barn where it sat until about 10 years ago. it was pulled from the barn cleaned up, ew shocks installed, ew exhaust, hen sat in a garage once again for a couple years. then was completely re wired with new harness, new tires installed and driven. i got the car a while back and man this thing is a blast to drive, nd gets tons of attention!!! There is nothing like cruising around town in a real original hot rod, ith a flat head V8 and 3 speed on the column. The car runs and drive great, nd have had no issues with it. The engine does seem to use/ or blow a little oil but nothing crazy, ut still holds good oil pressure at idle and while driving around. The original key switch and column lock work good. Chassis and suspension are solid, ody and other sheet metal are all solid other than some surface rust. Interior is in good shape, t is the Tuck and roll that was done in the 50's, t does show its age but still in really good shape other than some minor wear from use. only major bad part of the car is the rear windows are milky and some of the side glass is cracked. Over all this is a great piece of real hot rod history that is a joy to drive and enjoy. thanks for looking and good luck bidding
