Ford F-100 1956 Description
This is a 1956 Ford pickup truck that I bought out of Arizona 2 years ago. I have the title that shows the previous owner bought it in 1961 in Glendale Arizona and then the guy I bought it from bought it in 1980 and he also lives in Arizona. This is an extremely solid rust free Arizona truck.
When I bought the truck I took it all apart and had the frame and complete body media blasted to bare steel. All that I can remember having rust is one spot in the floor on the drivers side that we butt welded together. The bottom of the doors look awesome as does the rest of the sheet metal. The complete truck was then body worked, nd then epoxy primed. It still needs to have poly put on there and blocked out and then it needs a coat of primer and sealer and then it will be ready to paint. I have the rust free tail gate but it is dented pretty good not really worth fixing. Also the running boards have been media blasted and primed but they also would be hard to repair but it could be done. The doors, enders both front and rear and the hood are all steel and in excellent condition.
I don't have the old engine and transmission but I have most of the other parts that will go with the truck if you want, don't know if I can find the glass most of that was cracked. I bought brand new take out leather seats with a center console for the truck in a tan leather as you can see in the pictures. The one seat had been sitting out for awhile so the wrinkles from the packaging came out but as you can see on the other two pieces they still have wrinkles in the leather from the packaging.
The rear end is an 8 inch Ford Mustang with a four link set up and the frame was boxed out in that area. I have a tranny cross member for an automatic FMX Mustang I was going to put in there. I also had a fabrication shop put in motor mounts that will fit most small block fords such as a 351C, 51W, 02 and 289. We also put in tubular control arms, ropped spindles, S rack and pinion and front disc brakes. This has all been professionally installed. This front end is commonly known as a Mustang II front end and looks very nice.
Not included in the bid but I will sell to the winner bidder is an FMX automatic transmission I spent 2,300 dollars to have it rebuilt. I also have a Mustang 302 that the block has been rebuilt and the heads have been machined but not installed. The reason I am not selling these with the truck is because most people will have their own idea of what they want to use in the truck for the drive train. I have about 4,500 into these two items and the winning bidder can buy them for 2,000 if they so desire.
I own Kevins Klassic Cars in Cannon Falls Mn look that up in Google and you will see the quality of the cars that we do. This truck is nice but still has a lot of work to get it done. We don't have a paint opening until May of 2016 but if the winner wants my shop to paint it after the truck is paid for I will store it inside free of charge and we will paint the frame, ody, nterior, ottom of the truck and outside of the truck for 18K plus any parts it needs. You wont find a nicer truck then this to start as a project and basically you have an open canvass to do as you please on here all we have done so far is the body work, nterior seats and suspension.
I have pictured in there a clear Arizona title. I live in Rosemount Mn and I will deliver the car after it is paid for up to 1,000 miles for .60 cents a mile so if I go 1,000 miles that is 600 to get there and 600 to get home. My truck and trailer gets 7 miles per gallon plus a hotel room I would make about 12 dollars an hour drive time Im not getting rich on that. Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or feel free to come and visit our shop in Cannon Falls Mn. Thanks Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722
